Analytics Institute Fellowship & Industry Awards 2019

We had a fantastic afternoon at the Analytics Institute Fellowship & Industry Awards 2019 in the magnificent Banking Hall in the Westin Hotel on Friday June 21st.

The awards were hosted by Sile Seoige and the Analytics Institute team and were sponsored by the Aon Centre for Innovation & Analytics, Glantus, EY, AIB, Bank of Ireland, Oracle, Idiro Analytics, Client Solutions, PwC, GeoDirectory and SAS. The event was packed out with over 200 industry leaders from across the sector in attendance and we were delighted to be among the finalists for the Implementation of AI Award.

Customer Insights Award

The Fellowship and Industry awards organisations that have made an outstanding contribution to the Analytics Industry in Ireland and this year, we were proud to have sponsored the Customer Insights Award which was awarded to Idiro Analytics and presented to Aidan Connolly (CEO of Idiro Analytics).

As one of Ireland’s fastest-growing sectors, data analytics generates over €38 billion in total exports alone and according to a PwC report published this week in conjunction with the Analytics Institute, 16% of Ireland’s top executives say AI will create jobs in their organisations this year.

As Lorcan Malone, chief executive of the Analytics Institute, said: “It is an exciting and fast-moving sector. Ireland is well positioned to take advantage of this growth. We have great talent and brilliant companies here.”
