2021 saw Glantus complete an IPO, acquire two companies to augment our offering in the Accounts Payable end-to-end market, and add senior talent to the global management team, to position the company for further growth in the coming year and beyond. We’ve summarised a sample of our mad adventures below.
To continue the massive success of the virtual events of 2020, we initiated a series of online sessions to substitute for Covid 19 lockdown cancellations of face-to-face events and introduced the “Coffee Break and Automate” series, along with thought leadership sessions with guest speakers, to immense success. We finalised partnership with URA and launched our partnership with them to the global market.
In May, we completed a successful flotation on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange, allowing Glantus to capitalise on long-term trends that continue to drive our strong performance. This fundamentally changed the company structure to a public company (PLC) and will power future growth.
Acquisition of TIC
In a remarkably busy summer, we acquired Technology Insight Corporation (TIC) and the strategic acquisition of the DataShark brand, massively ameliorating our AP capabilities and bringing a new ecosystem into play for our customers globally.
During the summer, we also added a wealth of top talent to the senior management team globally with appointments being made in the US, UK, and Ireland to bolster our decision-making capabilities and drive Glantus on to even greater success going forward.
In addition to the range of virtual events we held in the earlier part of the year, with such guests as Matthew Mackintosh (AMSBM), Georgina Browne (Winters Property Management), and David Baker (ClwydAlyn) for “Building Your Way Back,” we finally managed to get out and about for human interaction in the early autumn!
Highlights of physical events included the hugely successful SSON Orlando, where our US team wowed the attendees with a “sea of orange” and caught the attention of all present.
In November, we had an official launch of the “DataShark” platform in Ireland, which was a combination of a physical get together in Dublin with some of our customers and industry peers, as well as an online session which culminated with Bill Stewart (Aramark) speaking about the Aramark experience with Glantus.
We “kicked off” December with our AP Recovery event in Old Trafford. This event was a unique blend of learning, thought leadership, networking and fun – don't take our word for it – check out the video highlights!
Acquisition of Meridian
Glantus massively bolstered its share of the EMEA AP recovery market with the acquisition of Meridian Cost Benefit Limited in November, representing another bold step in the company’s May ‘21 IPO growth strategy and expanding the Glantus brand across the region.
Global Partnership Program
In December, we rounded the year off by introducing a new Global Partner Ecosystem. This program is designed to enable partners to empower their customers to transfer and automate their AP systems.
What does the future look like?
2022 promises to be just as exciting and challenging (in a good way!) as we look to deliver more initiatives and innovation with our best-in-class AP software. Keep an eye on future announcements to learn more!
